After a collision, you want to get back on the road as quickly as possible. Once you've made sure that everyone is okay and exchanged contact details with the other road users involved, take your car to your local Crain Collision Center for collision repair. We've worked with hundreds of individuals over the year and can repair your vehicle efficiently and at a low cost. Read on to find out more about our centers and what you can expect from us.

High Quality Repair

Don't just go to the collision center with the cheapest estimate. Although high-quality technicians can sometimes fix issues at a low rate, it's important to look at quality as well as the price. At the Crain Collision Center, we negotiate with insurance companies to make sure you're covered. We also only hire experienced technicians who make your car look as good as new when they're done.

We also offer additional services, like access to our relationships with approved car rental agencies, so you can get a replacement vehicle while you wait for us to complete the repairs. We also offer a warranty on all our work. The Limited Lifetime Warranty covers you for as long as you own your vehicle. If you have a problem related to our work, you won't have to pay for it to be fixed. Simply contact the collision center that repaired your vehicle, and they'll fix the issue.

What Services Does a Collision Center Offer?

Smaller dealerships and independent automobile repair shops can help you with minor problems, but they might not be able to fix your car after a major collision. If you want to make sure that your vehicle is properly repaired, reach out to one of our collision centers, where experienced technicians perform all kinds of repairs. Our teams can fix every part of your car. We start by inspecting the damage and providing you with an estimate.

Depending on your insurance policy and the kind of accident you had, you might have to pay a deductible. If you're not sure, call your agent. Once you've let us know that you'd like to proceed, we prepare your vehicle by disassembling it and removing the original layers of paint. Then, we do the bodywork. This involves repairing your car's structural parts and replacing any faulty components. Finally, we reassemble the vehicle and apply new layers of paint.

A collision center is the best place to go after a crash because the technicians are trained to work on damaged vehicles of all kinds. They can not only make sure all the parts are functional and replace damaged components, but they can also match the factory paint color so your car looks like new. Collision Repair FAQ: How Does the Repair Process Work?

Collision repair encompasses all forms of repairing physical damage to your car. It could be a dent caused by a runaway shopping cart, a crack in the windshield from a poorly aimed golf ball, or an accident caused by another vehicle. In all these cases, your car will have suffered damage and needs repair. We'd like to give you an overview of the repair process. Booking The first step in repairing the damage is contacting us. We have four repair centers in Arkansas, and they have the trained technicians and tools to fix any level of damage to your car. You can book an appointment with us either by phone or via our bookings page on the website. If your car isn't drivable, we can arrange a tow truck. Assessment One of our expert technicians will perform a thorough walk-around inspection of your car to determine the extent of the damage. This inspection is documented and videoed and forms the basis for planning the repair process. Some assessments can be very quick, for example, a cracked windshield, and others may take longer. Check-In While our technician is examining the damage, we'll assist you with the check-in process. We provide a complimentary drop-off and pickup service. We can also assist you if you need to rent a car. Estimate Once the assessment has been completed, we'll produce a free estimate for you or your insurance company. Our technicians will assist you with any questions you might have. If your insurance company is arranging the repair, we'll liaise with them. We work with all insurance companies, and this knowledge can make the process much faster. During this stage, we will order any parts we don't have for the repair. Vehicle Prep Once we receive approval for the repair, and damaged sections will be removed. In the unlikely event, we discover any additional damage, we'll inform you or your insurance company. Any paint behind or around the damaged sections will be removed to prepare the surface for repainting. Repairs This stage of the process varies the most, as it's determined by the type and extent of the damage. Any dents will be expertly removed, and sections to be repaired will be cleaned, sanded, and prepared for painting. Painting Any panels or body sections that require painting will be transferred to our paint shop. They will be color matched and repainted to match your car's paint. Our paint technicians will then repaint all areas where damaged sections were removed before installing the new sections or panels. Collection Once the repairs are complete, your car will be rechecked and tested, and will then be available for collection. If you'd like to know more about a repair or to book a repair, call us today at Crain Collision.
